Planning & Applications
Working and liaising with local authorities. Assistance with submission of planning, road closure and oversail applications. Provision of lifting plans, schedule of lifts and diagrammatic representation of traffic management and lifting radius.
Design Advice
Providing advice regarding choice of cranes, jib length, mast height and lifting capacities. Assistance with design of bases & support system. Provision of temporary works design for construction of base & support during erection/dismantling. All design criteria is readily available to structural engineers for consideration in the crane base design.
Erection & Dismantling
Co-ordination of the entire process. Liaison with client & working within contract programmes. Notifying local authorities & general public of the works.
Signage
Provision of tailor-made signs to suit client requirements. Specialised signs with client logo, colours & various illumination is available.
Technical
A vast library of technical information is available either hard copy or can be sent electronically. Information on every single crane & lifting accessory is stored in a central archive accessible to all personnel.
Health And Safety
as a building company, All necessary health and safety documentation is produced in advance of any work. This includes the lifting plans, method statements, risk assessments, schedule of lift materials & a lifting schedule. These documents are authored, checked & approved by appointed persons only.
Qualified Personnel
We have a host of qualified personnel at our client's disposal. This ranges from CPCS operators, appointed persons, lift supervisors and slingers/signalers. We now have qualified personnel that undertake regular in-house testing of all lifting accessories according to LOLER requirements.
Maintenance & Call-Out
A 24-hour call-out service is available with all tower cranes being out of service for the shortest period possible. As the plant is relatively new, only routine maintenance is predominantly undertaken. Although highly unlikely, major repairs are swiftly completed with the necessary resources being readily available. All cranes undergo thorough inspections as per LOLER. They are also fully checked and serviced upon dismantling every time, prior to being erected on a new site.
